I hate going out on a Sunday. Part of it because I have the typical Pre-Monday Sadness Syndrome and part due to the fact that I always believe Sundays are meant for personal development and tasks. I can meal prep, watch my favourite anime episode, read a book, blog and just chill with my skincare routine.
And you know what’s the best part of weekends? Good ol’ lazy breakfast. So what did eat today? I had beef curry with fresh and hot paratha.
The best part of this beef is that is cooked with biriyani masala and natural Greek yogurt which gives you the perfect “spicy with a touch of sour” taste. Now usually you can have leftover beef or chicken curry or just it’s gravy but mum tends to make biriyani on Sunday so we eat it fresh.
If you want to experience the proper heavy Bengali breakfast you could include poached eggs, Aloo Bhaji, Shuji, Daal and a cup of hot chai tea or simply cha like we Bengali call it. I don’t usually eat all of those my dad and my brothers do. So I just picked the beef curry. I will take a picture of the complete breakfast menu in pour house and post it one day so you can see it yourself.
